I'm back from my week in Florida! We had a wonderful time and honestly did nothing but sit and relax on the beach. I posted a bunch of photos on my other blog from my trip but one of the things I will remember is the incredible beautiful colors of the ocean. I've been to Florida in the past but the blue of the ocean was incredibly gorgeous this time. Just a Welcome watercolor for the mind and soul.
It took me a few days to get back in the creative swing again after returning but with several project deadlines around the corner, I needed to leave my lovely ocean behind and get to work. One of the projects I'm working on, is our Vintage Rental and Event Styling business website. Currently I have been busy trying to edit the hundreds of photos for the site which in itself is a large task. I'm also taking advantage of doing some photo shoots with my niece (our website model) before she heads back to Grad School in August to finish her Doctorate. To get a flavor of our future site, here's a few to share with you;
~Vintage Garden~
I styled Sam in a lemon yellow sundress and straw hat with green and white snowball flowers surrounded by some of our vintage props.
~Lakeside Vintage~
I took advantage of the lush weeping willow tree to hang one of our mini chandeliers from. Sam is dressed in a 1960's vintage pink cocktail dress from Karla Nathan. The old papered satchel is from our collection of prop luggage. Pink roses are placed in a robins egg blue painted watering can.
