Simple Fresh Flower Container Ideas

I had the pleasure of creating some fresh flower bouquets for a couple of photo projects the other day and thought I would show you the containers I used. 

Depression styled votive candle cups found at the dollar store were used for these mini bouquets. Loved the chartreuse color contrasting with the bright flowers. Votive candle cups are perfect flower holders and great to hang from tree limbs too!

One of my favorite containers to use with flowers are bowls. I placed purple ornamental cabbage in the center of the vintage ironstone bowl and added fresh flowers to complete this arrangement~easy to do:)

Tabletop Garden House Made From Vintage Windows

What do you create with 5 vintage glass windows? A tabletop garden house just in time for Spring! Roger who happens to be Phyllis's husband, is our in shop Master Craftsman. Over the years, Roger is the talent that has brought all of our design ideas to life. We brought the windows back after a recent vintage hunt trip and Roger built our garden house. We have several Spring events that we are styling for so this will be a perfect tabletop display.

I styled the garden house with all kinds of vibrant green shop collectibles including egg cups placed in plants, dishes and a vintage lace scarf. Of course a garden house would not be complete without a garden book don't you think?

So much to show you in the coming weeks including more of Roger's beautiful craftsmanship. Think repurposed farmhouse industrial chic!

Rusty Metal Garden Chairs

We never pass up a great old metal garden chair when out vintage hunting. Recently we got lucky and found several just in time for Spring. 

I think our poor frozen tulips are ready for some warmer weather too. Have a great weekend.
