This past weekend after 7 months of renovations, we are moving into the farmhouse! Gosh it seems strange to finally talk about moving but it is coming true. I probably should add a disclaimer that it will take a good two weeks to do but heck we are making some progress. In the middle of cleaning and getting rid of all of the accumulated renovation dust, I simply had to start decorating. I took a few blue mason jars (my favorite) which were another box lot buy from the auction and added some beautiful lilacs from my backyard. They are sitting in one of the window sills in my kitchen~can there be anything that smells better in the spring then fresh lilacs?
I am blessed with a bright and sunny farmhouse kitchen which I adore. The bank of windows facing East helps to catch the morning light. This is a view of the just cleaned kitchen with no more dust! I still have a couple of shelves to hang plus adding everything else that goes into a kitchen but we have a start:)
I want to say "Thank You" to all of you new and old Dear Friends that continue to take the time to visit my blog and offer such wonderful support. In return, I will continue to share ideas, tips and hopefully some inspiration along the way that you can all use.
Also, I am working on a redesign of my blog to better reflect my passions of antiquing, blogging, decorating and photography~gotta keep things fresh!!
For those of you that are wondering about my weight loss~drum roll~minus 30 pounds~I don't have the cravings I once had or was addicted to Thank Goodness! I would love to know how you're all doing with your weight goals or anything else you might want to talk about:)
