This past weekend I spent four incredible days at the Silver Bella event in Omaha with 200 of my creative friends. I must say I was truly overwhelmed with the friendship (Thank You for all the beautiful gifts) and talent that these Women continue to bring to make Silver Bella such a wonderful experience. Jo Packam our luncheon speaker on Saturday was a huge highlight for me. She spoke about her passion to promote Women who lead a creative lifestyle and how we should never give up on our dreams to do so. Amen Jo! I finally got to meet and take classes from Karri Meng of French General who I have been a fan of for many years. Here are just a few photos to share with you~
Ok, Shelly (my niece) pretty much sums up how much fun the whole weekend was~
This was taken right after she busted into some pretty impressive dance moves:)
Forgive my point and shoot camera photo but it did show Shelly’s creative glow:)
My buddy Karla and her glitter eye shadow~
I loved this tag that Karla made in Anna Corba’s class. We were taught how to collage with bleached bees wax.
Vendor Faire photos~My booth~
The darling paper snowmen and birds were from my KC friend Lesa Dailey. Talented Lesa has a licensing deal with Midwest of Cannon Falls but these were originals that I brought which all sold out within 30 minutes! Here is her email [email protected] for those of you that would like to contact her.
Gwen of French by Design~Original trims from France!
Find Gwen and her sister Teri at our Miss Frenchie’s Show in KC. More about that in the next few days.
Linda of Willow Nest traveled from Texas! I am so excited that Linda and her darling husband Ludmil will be vendors at our Miss Frenchie’s Show in KC too:)
Deb made the trip too with a little bit of Curious Sofa~
Loved this photo from Karla’s booth~
I missed out on a lot of photo op’s because I was working my booth but there are a ton on blogland from the event. This photo of Amy just made me smile:)
I also want to say “Thank You” to many of you who I met that have followed my blog and the Farmhouse journal. It made my weekend:)
