Our story begins 30 years ago when we met working as Registered Nurses and soon found we shared a passion for antiquing and decorating. The three of us eventually started selling our extra finds at antique malls and local shows. As antique dealers, we developed a reputation for staging incredible booth spaces which led to a devoted customer following. Our loyal followers would frequently ask if we had a shop they could visit. In the summer of 2005, we found a wonderful 100-year-old-American farmhouse in the heart of Missouri and decided to take a leap of faith and open a shop of our own. Following two months of renovations on the farmhouse, we opened our doors in October 2005 and essentially have never looked back. We travel across the US to fill the shop with casual to rustic furnishings flavored with the vintage aesthetic we love.
We are very proud that Raised In Cotton has continued to blossom over the last 5 years into a full service vintage business. Our portfolio of services include;
