It's no secret that when it comes to decorating, always start by deciding on a color palette. The basic concept of picking colors first is a decision I do even when styling for events, photo sessions and the shop. When the color choice is made, it is fairly easy to select the other elements and textures to go along with the scheme. After that, everything else just falls into a more cohesive style.
*Here's a tip for you, need to find a great Holiday color palette for your event or home? Go to a Sephora Store and check out the gorgeous eye shadow colors for ideas. No Joke! The Beauty Industry is genius when it comes to putting together incredible color packages. So forget the paint store, try the cosmetics counter for color ideas:)
Since we use lots of creams, black and white shades at the shop, it was easy to select those colors for our Holiday Open House. We also added lots of "dirty" gold, mercury glass silver and flocked branches to create a layered sparkle to the shop.
Do you have a Holiday color palette you are going to use this season? I would love to know:)
We would LOVE it if you would "Friend" us on our Facebook Page
