Last year at this time we were just taking possession of the farmhouse so consequently I did not get to do much decorating for Fall or even Christmas for that matter. I feel like I need to make up for some lost decorating time! Plus the weather is finally starting to cool down a bit and it's not hard to get into the Fall mode. Of course my formula for any project I do is usually this; Simple + Vintage = Pretty. Or at least that's my ultimate goal:)
I have a couple of Fall arrangements to share with you using vintage finds that I hope you can try for yourself~
1. Vintage metal or wood tool totes make great containers to hold fresh flowers in.
This little bleached pine tote is on the small side and perfect to place on a shelf, table or even a chair. I took the fresh flowers separating them in six smaller bouquets and added them to glass salt and pepper shakers that fit nicely down inside the wood tote.
2. Love metal bike baskets, so versatile for holding all kinds of Fall goods.
You can hang them off of a door, fence or gate.
The rusty metal has a nice contrast against the orange flowers~
Or place them inside the house~
These are great to use for hostess gifts or even weddings too. I bet you have wonderful vintage finds that you can use for lovely arrangements:)
I am taking part in Melissa's 3rd Annual Fall Nesting Party so go over and take a look at more beautiful ideas for Fall.
Enjoy your weekend and I will be back next week with more Fall Decorating Ideas:))
