After rewiring most of the farmhouse, we finally felt safe enough to hang the two new chandelier's I purchased for the entry and second story landing. Both of the chandelier's are from Bellacor who offer a great customer service and large style selection.
If you remember, this was the "before" monster that was in the entry when we bought the farmhouse. Much too large and the wrong style for the space.
Here is the new chandelier for the entry~
The entry chandelier has a combination of beautiful crystals with oxidized rust metal arms which is the right mix of casual elegance as you step inside the door.
The chandelier is more on the pendant style and really fits well by the staircase. I have to admit, the evening we hung the chandelier I stood mesmerized by the pattern on the ceiling from the crystals. Just does not take much to put a smile on my face:)
On up the stairs to the second story landing, this is the next new chandelier~
Oxidized bronze with faceted crystals in a 19th century style that compliments the back drop of the cream walls and woodwork. It only took me about 3 hours to put this together with all of the crystal pieces!
It is certainly amazing how a fresh coat of paint and a new light fixture can change the overall look of any room.
